Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions Segment in Freeport, IL is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator who will set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and NC machines to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts. Wage range for this position is $20.34 - $22.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and comply with safety regulations.
• Verify dimensions and alignment of parts and assemblies.
• Adjust processes as needed to accommodate changes in procedures or tooling.
• Support continuous improvement and quality guidelines in daily tasks.
