Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 3rd shift manufacturing associate in Rocky Mount, NC. Base pay is $16.00 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift differential, on a 6 pm–6 am Sunday–Thursday schedule.

Walk-in interviews are available from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at 433 N Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The role involves mass-producing windows, doors, and glass units, plus potential loading and unloading, basic measurement tasks, and training new employees.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Job Details

Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
