Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am, Sun–Thu) to fabricate components for final window assembly. Forklift experience is required, and the role involves repetitive, physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will perform mass production operations, handle materials, and use various tools while reading instructions and schedules. Training and safety are emphasized, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus shift differential of $1.00

Shift available: 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Sun-Thurs, plus overtime whenneeded

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.Forklift experience is required.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employ
• Reads and performs work as assigned by the department Supervisor
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or mater
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• General labor

Qualifications
