Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dedicated production worker for our Lexington, NC facility. The 3rd shift runs 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Sunday through Thursday, with overtime as needed. Base pay is $17.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities include operating mass-production equipment for windows, doors, and glass units, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift and crane experience are a plus, and a

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus shift differential of $1.00

Shift available: 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Sun-Thurs, plus overtime when needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employ
• Reads and performs work as assigned by the department Supervisor
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or mater
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• General labor

Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• High school diploma or GED Previous experience a plus

• Flexible with either working day or night shifts and weekends if needed
