Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Carolina is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate and assemble components for windows in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

You will operate hand and power tools, read work orders, use a tape measure, and support forklift operations; forklift experience is required and overhead crane experience is a plus. This is a full-time 1st shift position with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior factory experience a plus.
• Team oriented, dependable and energetic with flexibility for shifts.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow simple instructions.
• Forklift experience required; crane experience a plus.
• Mechanically inclined with basic tool handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows and components.
• Operate hand and power tools, saws, welders or routers as needed.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules; inspect for defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support loading/unloading tasks.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees and follow supervisor instructions.
