Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, NC is seeking a Production Associate for the fabrication and assembly of window components. The role involves a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with heavy lifting and hands-on work using various tools.

Forklift experience is required, and there is potential overtime on 1st shift. The position supports multiple departments, requires reading work orders and measurements, and emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED; previous experience a plus.
• Good attitude and team oriented.
• Dependable, energetic and flexible with shifts.
• Read a tape; overhead crane and forklift experience a plus.
• Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to complete tasks.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules; read a tape when needed.
• Identify product defects by inspecting and observing.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employ.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
