Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate 4 (PIT Operator) in New Jersey. The role involves safe forklift operations, loading and unloading windows and doors, scanning parts, and securing loads for trailers. You will rotate through stations, assist with dock tasks, and adhere to 5S and safety practices.

Candidate should lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and have basic math and English literacy. Prior forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to stand for duration of shift.
• Forklift experience preferred and certified.
• English reading and writing required.
• Cross-train on multiple workstations.

Responsibilities

• Safely locate, transport and load building materials into trailers.
• Participate in safety walks and stand-up meetings.
• Unload and load windows and doors onto shipping carts.
• Scan stock and custom units to trailer locations.
• Properly strap loaded items and secure with SOPs.
• Keep trailer and dock area clean and organized.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
• Record pallet locations and report to forklift operator.
