You will read instructions, follow work orders, and may train new employees as needed. Shifts include 1st and 3rd with pay of $16.00/hour plus $1.50/hour shift differential for the 3rd shift.

Qualifikationen

• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

• Shift 1st: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
• Shift 3rd: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows.
• Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.
• This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
• Training period require working Monday through Friday 6a - 6p and could last up to 6 weeks approximately
• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
