Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is hiring a Production Associate to load and unload donated goods, sort textiles, and prepare items for processing or storage. You will assist customers and donors, move heavy items using a hand truck, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year in retail customer service.
• Ability to bend, lift, and move continuously.
• Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
• Meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station.
• Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow.
• Supply Team Members with materials by restocking supplies.
• Sorting and pricing of donated items and garments with limited supervision; tagging and shelving per guidelines.
• Keep aisles free from debris; ensure work areas remain clean and organized; report hazards.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and adherence to loss prevention procedures.
