Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Plainfield, Indiana is seeking a Production Associate for 2nd shift. You will assemble pool covers and related components, using tools and equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to read basic English. Starting pay is $20.75 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with full-time, on-site employment and discretionary year-end bonus.

Job Summary

Responsible for the assembly of product of pool covers. May be responsible for Cutting, Cross Seaming, webbing or stitching. Performance in creating a quality product.

Some Of What You Will Do

• Train with highly skilled leaders in all areas of swimming pool production
• Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
• Manufacturing experience such as heat-seals welding, kit-building, light fabricating, cutting, and sewing encouraged, but not necessary.
• Punctual and detail-oriented
• Experience using power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines.
• Work on a team of dedicated associates manufacturing swimming pools and pool components like thermoformed steps, structural foam molding of polymer panels, etc.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• 0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines, and the use of hand tools
• 0-3 years in manufacturing or production
• Ability to read basic English and have good communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-12 hour shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multitask, work on a team, and work independently.
• Ability to work with one’s hands and be able to use hand tools such as drills and hammers.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-10 shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Manufacturing experience preferred
