Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company is hiring a Production Associate for 2nd shift in Plainfield, IN. You will be involved in assembly of pool covers and related components, with opportunities to learn through hands-on training from skilled leaders.

Responsibilities include safe production, use of power and hand tools, and potential sewing-related tasks. 0-3 years in manufacturing and ability to read basic English are valued traits; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines or using hand tools.
• Ability to read basic English and communicate clearly.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, teamwork abilities.

Job Summary

Responsible for the assembly of product of pool covers.May be responsible for Cutting, Cross Seaming, webbing or stitching.Performance in creating a quality product.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Train with highly skilled leaders in all areas of swimming pool production
• Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
• Manufacturing experience such asheat-seals welding, kit-building, light fabricating, cutting, and sewing encouraged, but not necessary.
• Punctualand detail-oriented
• Experience using power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines.
• Work on a team of dedicated associates manufacturing swimming pools and pool components like thermoformed steps, structural foam molding of polymer panels, etc.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• 0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines, and the use of hand tools
• 0-3 years in manufacturing or production
• Ability to read basic English and have good communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-12 hour shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multitask, work on a team, and work independently.
• Ability to work with one’s hands and be able to use hand tools such as drills and hammers.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-10 shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Salary Range: $20.75+$1.00 shift differential

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
