Latham, The Pool Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Production Associate to support the manufacture of automatic pool covers and related components. You will operate semi-automated equipment, use hand and power tools, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience operating semi-automated machines and using hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to multitask, work on a team, and work independently.
• Ability to stand 8-12 hour shifts, bend, reach, push, pull.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read basic English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with one’s hands and use hand tools.

Job Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for assisting in the production of automatic pool covers and related pool components. This role involves operating semi-automated equipment, using hand and power tools, and performing a variety of manufacturing tasks in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Perform assignments to create pool covers
• Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
• Manufacturing experience such as heat-seal welding, kit-building, light fabricating, cutting, and sewing encouraged, but not necessary.
• Punctual and detail-oriented
• Experience using power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines.
• Work on a team of dedicated associates manufacturing auto pool covers and pool components like thermoformed steps, structural foam molding of polymer panels, etc.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• 0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines, and the use of hand tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-12 hour shifts,
• able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
