Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift worker in Tolleson, AZ to perform manual material handling, packaging, stacking, and assist machine operators.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a hot environment, and adapt to overtime depending on orders and seasons. The position offers in-house forklift/overhead crane training and a shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with potential overtime; benefits include starting day 1 and various programs as part of a full-time

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Company provides in-house forklift/overhead crane training and certification.
• General mathematical knowledge and ability with basic measuring tools.
• Able to work in a hot environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour + $1.00 in shift differential

Bonus Pay every 3 months

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual material handling
• Packaging
• Stacking material
• Assisting machine operators
• Handlebasic powered hand tools
• Work safely and effectively to meet deadlines
• Work safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
• Company provides in house training and certification of forklift/overhead crane
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Able to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
