Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 2nd shift position in Tolleson, AZ. The role involves packaging, stacking material and assisting machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate basic powered hand tools, stay safe, and meet deadlines while contributing to a collaborative team. Requirements include at least 1 year of related manufacturing experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to undergo forklift/overhead crane training.

Qualifications

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour + $1.00 in shift differential

Bonus Pay every 3 months

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging
• Stacking material
• Assisting machine operators

• Work safely and effectively to meet deadlines
• Work safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Company provides in house training and certification of forklift/overhead crane
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Able to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
