Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Production Associate for the St. Joseph, MO area. The role involves counting and stacking finished product, reading orders, and ensuring quality through accurate measurements and documentation.

You will be part of a two-week onboarding program with a 6:00pm–6:00am shift and a start date aligned to the onboarding schedule. The position includes a $22.50/hour rate for the first two weeks, rising to $23.47 during probation and $25.74 after probation (typically ~90

Qualifications

  • Experience counting and stacking finished product.
  • Ability to read factory orders and gauges.

Responsibilities

  • Count and stack finished product.
  • Read factory orders.
  • Read gauges and other test equipment accurately.
  • Perform basic shop math and inspections.
  • Complete quality and administrative documents as directed.
  • Assist with cleanup tasks around the machine area.

  • 40 shift differential
  • $22.50 for the first two weeks
  • $23.47 during probationary period
  • $25.74 after probationary period (Generally 90 days)
Sign-on Bonus
  • $500 after 30 days
  • $500 after 6 months

The Job You Will Perform
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading factory orders
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
  • Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
  • This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
