International Paper in Griffin, GA 30224 is seeking a 1st shift Utility Operator. The role pays $21.03 per hour and runs 7am–3pm on the first shift, with some weekends and overtime.
As a miscellaneous labor associate, you will follow safety rules, read work orders, identify stock, assist machine crews, and maintain quality by measuring with tape and using basic shop math. Strong teamwork and English literacy are required.

Miscellaneous labor associates perform assigned duties to help meet operational requirements.
Miscellaneous labor associates report to the production supervisor for the shift to which they are assigned. Miscellaneous labor associates also follow the direction of the equipment operator when they are assigned to a machine crew.
The qualifications for miscellaneous labor associates are the ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; the ability to use basic shop math; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
