Job summary

International Paper is hiring for an hourly full-time role based in Eighty Four, PA. You will set up machinery, read factory orders, and monitor quality throughout production while adhering to safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

You will work afternoon and midnight shifts, with physical duties including lifting up to 50–100 pounds and standing for long periods. Benefits cover health, retirement, and education support, with a focus on safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Ability to read basic gauges and measurements may be required.

The Job You Will Perform
  • Set up machinery according to machine specific procedures
  • Reading factory orders
  • Monitor and adjust for quality throughout the production process
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
  • Work in close proximity to electrical, hydraulic and mechanical energy sources
  • Follow Lock out/ Tag out procedures
  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
  • This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.

  • Operating standards - the employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the employee.
