Aerotek is hiring Production Workers for Pell City, AL, offering a contract-to-hire pathway. The role supports day-to-day production operations, including assembly, machine operation, packaging, and general labor in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Must be open to 1st and 2nd shifts and available to start quickly. The position is onsite in Pell City, with a starting pay of $16/hr and a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment as a general production worker. You support day-to-day production operations through tasks such as assembly, machine operation, packaging, and general labor, helping ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general production and assembly tasks according to work instructions and safety guidelines.

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Assist with packaging of finished products, ensuring correct labeling and secure packing.

• Use hand tools and tape measures accurately to complete production and assembly work.

• Support general labor activities, including material handling, loading, and unloading as needed.

• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if qualified and authorized.

• Monitor production processes and report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
