Job summary

Btween is seeking a Production Associate to bridge design and manufacturing, manage garment development, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. You will track purchase orders, samples, and production status while coordinating with overseas factories to meet deadlines.

The role requires experience in fashion production or related internships, strong Excel/PLM skills, and a good understanding of kidswear construction and fit.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fashion production or a relevant product development internship.
• Proficiency in Excel and internal PLM tracking systems.
• Basic understanding of children’s garment construction, fabrics, and fit requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with overseas vendors.

Responsibilities

• Track and update WIP reports to ensure factories meet delivery dates.
• Track and organize all fabric, trim, and pre-production samples.
• Coordinate daily with overseas factories to negotiate costs and review production status.
• Ensure children’s wear safety compliance (CPSIA).
• Act as the main contact between Design, Merchandising, and overseas factories.
• Manage the entire production approval process.

Job description

As Production Associate you will be asked tobridge the gap between design and manufacturing. Manage garment development, track purchase orders, and ensure clothing meets strict safety guidelines and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking Orders: Manage and update the Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports to ensure factories meet delivery dates.
• Sample Management: Track and organize all fabric, trim, and pre-production samples.
• Vendor Communication: Coordinate daily with overseas factories to negotiate costs and review production status.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure children's wear complies with safety laws like the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).
• Cross-Functional Work: Act as the main point of contact between Design, Merchandising, and overseas factories.
• Approval: Manage the whole proction approval process

Job Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years in fashion production or a relevant product development internship.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Excel and internal Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tracking systems.
• Kidswear Knowledge: Basic understanding of children's garment construction, fabrics, and fit requirements.
• Communication: Ability to handle fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and communicate clearly with overseas vendors.
