Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Production Associate to coordinate production workflow, ensure quality control, and execute projects across assigned accounts. Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, you will maintain site-specific drawings and Base Plan standards while supporting process improvements.

You will mentor designers, manage task queues, monitor time and progress in project tracking systems, and escalate issues to the PDL/Sr. PDM. This role builds foundational leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant drafting/production experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and discipline-specific software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production workflow across accounts and projects.
  • Review construction documents for quality and adherence to standards.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of production processes.
  • Maintain Base Plan fidelity and client requirements.
  • Mentor and train designers on software and standards.
  • Track time and project status using tracking software.
  • Escalate pricing questions to the PDM as needed.
  • Assist with workload planning and resource allocation.

Summary:The Production Associate (AS) is under the direct stewardship of the Sr. Production Manager. The Production Associate serves as the primary coordinator for production workflow, quality control, and project execution across assigned accounts and projects. This role is accountable for maintaining the quality and consistency of site-specific construction documents, ensuring adherence to approved Base Plan standards, supporting account-specific training, and coordinating production activities to meet delivery objectives.As the first formal step in the production leadership pathway, the Production Associate supports workload coordination, team development, operational efficiency, and production execution while building the skills necessary for future leadership opportunities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Primary DutiesAccount Care & MaintenanceInitial point of contact for Central Processing on the needs of day-to-day drawing and modeling tasksForecast and follow through regarding weekly site-specific goals and expectations in collaboration with PDMReview all Construction Documents for assigned Accounts/Clients, providing quality control and education opportunities for Designers using company provided/documented standardsSupport the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes, workflows, and team standards.Serve as the primary quality control resource for site-specific construction documents within assigned accountsMaintain Base Plan fidelity by ensuring site-specific work aligns with approved Base Plan content, standards, and client requirements.Drafting, Design, and Plan DevelopmentPrepare Construction Documents under the oversight and direction of PDL and Sr. PDMAdvanced design opportunities are available at the discretion of the discipline PDL and Sr. PDMEscalate content changes on site specific work to the PDLContribute to product development via delegated tasks in collaboration with the PDL and Sr. PDMProject Tracking and CommunicationPromote consistency and adherence to company standards, client requirements, and quality expectations across assigned projects and team members.Serve as a resource for designers regarding production processes, client standards, drafting practices, and project requirements.Maintain log of work performedEffectively track time and job status to maintain efficient workflowEfficient and competent use of project tracking softwareReport to and communicate effectively with PDL and Sr. PDM regarding project statusEscalate pricing questions, outside of “Repeat”, to the PDMTeam Management, Mentoring and TrainingMentor, train, and support the development of Designers on software, client standards, production processes, and workflow expectations.Report to and communicate effectively with manager regarding mentorship and training effortsAt the discretion of the Sr. Production Manager, assist with workload assignment and production coordination activities for Designers and Specialists.Production Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupport workload planning and resource allocation across assigned teams, projects, and accounts.Assist the Sr. Production Manager in monitoring team productivity, capacity, and delivery performance.Support onboarding, coaching, and development of DesignersProvide guidance and support to team members regarding production processes, client requirements, and workflow expectations.Help identify training needs and development opportunities within the team.Support implementation of workflow improvements and operational best practices.Use available resources efficiently and effectivelyPerforms all other assigned dutiesKnowledge:Minimum High School diploma, Associate’s Degree preferredMinimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, drafting experience preferredAdvanced Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit/Applicable Discipline Specific softwareAdvanced knowledge of ability to prepare Construction DocumentsAdvanced knowledge of residential construction techniques and applicable building code requirements.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 softwareStrong working knowledge of ERP and project tracking systems preferred.Skills and abilities:Ability to coordinate workflow priorities and support efficient resource utilization across multiple projects.Ability to review work products and provide constructive feedback to support quality and employee development.Ability to train and develop designers through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.Ability to communicate knowledge to DesignersProvide leadership through the development of DesignersExcellent organizational abilityStrong attention to detail and ability to execute with a high level of accuracyExcel at meeting deadlines by utilizing good communication and prioritization skillsThorough and precise with assigned tasksWilling and helpful natureAbility to create and maintain productive relationships with other employeesProficiency in English Language, reading, spoken, and writtenWork Environment/Physical Demands:General Office Environment.
