Summary
The Production Associate (AS) is under the direct stewardship of the Sr. Production Manager. The Production Associate serves as the primary coordinator for production workflow, quality control, and project execution across assigned accounts and projects. This role is accountable for maintaining the quality and consistency of site-specific construction documents, ensuring adherence to approved Base Plan standards, supporting account-specific training, and coordinating production activities to meet delivery objectives.
As the first formal step in the production leadership pathway, the Production Associate supports workload coordination, team development, operational efficiency, and production execution while building the skills necessary for future leadership opportunities.

Primary Duties
- Account Care & Maintenance
- Initial point of contact for Central Processing on the needs of day-to-day drawing and modeling tasks
- Forecast and follow through regarding weekly site-specific goals and expectations in collaboration with PDM
- Review all Construction Documents for assigned Accounts/Clients, providing quality control and education opportunities for Designers using company provided/documented standards
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes, workflows, and team standards.
- Serve as the primary quality control resource for site-specific construction documents within assigned accounts
- Maintain Base Plan fidelity by ensuring site-specific work aligns with approved Base Plan content, standards, and client requirements.
- Drafting, Design, and Plan Development
- Prepare Construction Documents under the oversight and direction of PDL and Sr. PDM
- Advanced design opportunities are available at the discretion of the discipline PDL and Sr. PDM
- Escalate content changes on site specific work to the PDL
- Contribute to product development via delegated tasks in collaboration with the PDL and Sr. PDM
- Project Tracking and Communication
- Promote consistency and adherence to company standards, client requirements, and quality expectations across assigned projects and team members.
- Serve as a resource for designers regarding production processes, client standards, drafting practices, and project requirements.
- Maintain log of work performed
- Effectively track time and job status to maintain efficient workflow
- Efficient and competent use of project tracking software
- Report to and communicate effectively with PDL and Sr. PDM regarding project status
- Escalate pricing questions, outside of \"Repeat\", to the PDM
- Team Management, Mentoring and Training
- Mentor, train, and support the development of Designers on software, client standards, production processes, and workflow expectations.
- Report to and communicate effectively with manager regarding mentorship and training efforts
- At the discretion of the Sr. Production Manager, assist with workload assignment and production coordination activities for Designers and Specialists.
- Production Leadership & Team Development
- Support workload planning and resource allocation across assigned teams, projects, and accounts.
- Assist the Sr. Production Manager in monitoring team productivity, capacity, and delivery performance.
- Support onboarding, coaching, and development of Designers
- Provide guidance and support to team members regarding production processes, client requirements, and workflow expectations.
- Help identify training needs and development opportunities within the team.
- Support implementation of workflow improvements and operational best practices.
- Use available resources efficiently and effectively
- Performs all other assigned duties
