  • Mix chemicals safely and accurately to produce finished products in line with established specifications.
  • Monitor gauges and controls during mixing to ensure correct temperature, mixing speed, and material levels are maintained throughout each batch.
  • Maintain awareness of batch status, staying engaged and productive during periods when batches are mixing and require less active intervention.
  • Accurately document each step of the mixing process on Process Check Sheets and Production Formula documentation.
  • Perform daily checks on equipment to verify proper operation and identify any issues or irregularities.
  • Package finished products according to requirements and prepare them for shipment to customers.
  • Organize and store raw materials and finished products in the warehouse in an orderly and safe manner.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to keep production areas and the warehouse organized, clean, and safe.
  • Operate the water treatment facility as needed to support production and maintain safe operations.
  • Follow general production, machine operation, and quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Use hand tools and other basic equipment safely and effectively as part of daily tasks.
  • Support a small production crew by communicating clearly, collaborating on tasks, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Job Description

The Production Associate plays a key role in mixing and maintaining batches of product in a relaxed, small-team manufacturing environment. You will work with raw materials and chemicals, prepare and monitor batches, and ensure products are accurately packaged and shipped to customers. The role combines periods of active, hands-on work with monitoring responsibilities, requiring attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to stay productive during slower periods in the production cycle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
