Job summary

Domino's is hiring a Production Team Member in Connecticut to assist in dough processing, packaging, and sanitation. You will rotate through production room, dough cooler, and tray washing, ensuring batch accuracy, proper labeling, and temperature checks.

The role requires weekend shifts and a 12 PM start on a Sunday through Friday schedule, with overtime as needed. The position emphasizes safe operation of equipment, adherence to SOPs, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of production or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read/interpret production process materials, dough thermometers, gauges, and record data.
• Must be available to work during a shift which may be scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day, over any 7-day period, including holidays.
• Must be able to work in a cleaning/sanitation environment with water and other cleaning chemicals.
• Must successfully pass a background check every third year, on your anniversary date.

Responsibilities

• Production room and Dough processing: Determine the correct batch recipe to gather, measure and mix ingredients.
• Production room and Dough processing: Ensure dough is delivered into a rounder.
• Production room and Dough processing: Record batch data and maintain proofing library.
• Production room and Dough processing: Achieve and maintain dough certification.
• Production room and Dough processing: Perform metal detector checkups, and dough temperature monitoring document accordingly.
• Production room and Dough processing: Change dough sizes on dough divider, metal detector, JLS (dough bot) and ink jet, as needed.
• Production room and Dough processing: Spot check dough ball weight for inconsistencies.
• Production room and Dough processing: Check sifter tailings timely and record findings.
• Production room and Dough processing: Report any irregularities to Supervisor and Manager.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Remove trays from conveyor belt as trays enter cooler and cross-stack onto dolly, as needed.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Check to ensure all trays of dough produced are properly labeled.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Down stack trays as dough temperature reaches target level and document, as needed.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Rotate down stacked trays in cooler.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Transport used trays to washing area to be cleaned.
• Dough cooler and Staging product for shipment: Monitor dough temperature and metal detector checks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand, climb, and walk on a continual basis throughout shift
• Ability to lift from floor to above the head, to carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally, throughout work shift
• Must be able to utilize PIT equipment, i.e. scissor lift, for cleaning the walls and ceilings
• Ability to work in refrigerated conditions and non-climate-controlled conditions ranging from 33 to 90 degrees plus and work in environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary
• Able to work with yeast and flour products
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
• Must be able to work wearing the Proper Protective Equipment
