Job summary

MPUSA in Meridian, ID is seeking a Production Assistant to join the Production department and support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and shipping teams. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and quality to keep production running smoothly.

The candidate will read blueprints, assist with assembly, and help with packaging and labeling. You will work Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read assembly blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
• Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Able to use precision equipment such as calipers and measuring instruments.
• Competent with power hand tools and able to clean and maintain equipment.
• Ability to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production, assembly, and manufacturing tasks using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Support quality control by performing checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Help with packaging and labeling of products for shipment to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste materials.
• Contribute to inventory management by counting, sorting, and organizing parts and materials.
