Job summary

Welch Packaging in Indiana is seeking a production associate to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow safety procedures, adhere to quality measures, and strive to hit targeted build rates while maintaining 100% on-time delivery to customers.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ years in a production setting. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential in daily tasks such as assembling and packaging finished goods.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
