Midwest Prototyping, A Prototek Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Assistant for a weekend shift to support daily production in a fast-paced digital manufacturing environment.

You will operate additive equipment, execute builds, and help deliver high-quality parts across diverse industries. A background in 3D printing and hands-on production is desirable for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in additive manufacturing (preferred).
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Ability to read prints or 3D files.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute build startups, machine setups, and material handling.
• Support SLA/DLP, SLS/MJF, and FDM printing operations.
• Perform powder handling, vat swaps, and machine calibrations.
• Conduct post-processing and finishing operations.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure part quality.
• Maintain equipment and support preventative maintenance.
