Job summary

NOW HIRING: Production Assembly Technician

$23/HR | 1ST SHIFT | MONDAY-FRIDAY | ESSEX, CT

We’re looking for aProduction Assembly Technicianto join our team in Essex, CT, helping build high-quality engine packages from the ground up.

This is more than a typical assembly job. You’ll work withmechanical components, piping, wiring, electrical systems, precision measuring tools, and hand and power toolswhile learning how complex engine packages come together.

Whether you already have assembly experience or you’re someone who ismechanically curious, dependable, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you!

Location: Essex, CT
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday-FRIDAY
Hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpretassembly blueprints, manuals, and specifications
• Assemble, align, and install components including piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components
• Usecalipers, gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Lay out, drill, ream, tap, and cut components as needed
• Inspect, test, and measure completed engine packages to ensure they meet specifications
• Gather and organize materials needed for each build
• Pick, label, locate, and deliver parts while helping maintain accurate inventory
• Perform repairs, rework, or replacement of damaged components when needed
• Safely operate hand and power tools including drills, wrenches, hammers, mallets, chisels, and measuring equipment
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep your workstation organized
• Identify defects and complete quality and production documentation
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Cross-train throughout the shopand develop skills across multiple production areas and product lines

What to Expect

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. You should be comfortable with:

• Frequently lifting up to50 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting throughout a9-hour shift
• Performing detailed hands-on work requiring good manual dexterity
• Reading blueprints, work orders, and computer screens
• Inspecting components and finished products for quality
