Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics to guide assembly processes
  • Conduct manual handling tasks safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols
  • Perform machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for assembly or repair
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting assembled components with measuring instruments and verifying against specifications
Skills
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate assembly
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and manufacturing standards
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
  • Ability to interpret production documents and shop math for accurate measurements and calculations
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and specialized industrial tools
  • Mechanical knowledge related to machining, soldering, and component installation
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings for mechanical blueprint interpretation
  • Knowledge of safety procedures including proper PPE use during manual handling and assembly tasks
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Bilingual a plus.
