Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Assembly Technician in Clifton Springs, NY. You will assemble mechanical components, read blueprints, and follow precise instructions to produce quality products. This full-time role offers weekly pay and a pay range of $17.00–$22.00 per hour.

You’ll work with a team, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives while developing hands-on manufacturing and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using hand tools, soldering equipment, or performing mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• A commitment to producing quality work and learning new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Position, fit, and adjust interrelated parts with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform testing and inspections to ensure finished products meet quality requirements.
• Complete coil winding, soldering, first-stage subassemblies, and final detailing as needed.
• Assemble products incorporating mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on improving efficiency, productivity, and reducing waste.
