Job summary

Milgard Windows & Doors (MITER Brands) in Tualatin, OR is seeking Production Assemblers for the insulated glass line. Day and swing shifts available, with starting times 6:00 AM or 4:00 PM and a $2 swing differential.

You will read work orders, operate chop saws and fabrication equipment, assemble insulated glass panels, install hardware, inspect quality, and package finished units. Overtime is required as needed and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to read basic work instructions and production orders.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay physically active.
• Previous glass handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production orders and material specs.
• Operate chop saws and fabrication equipment; use pneumatic tools.
• Assemble and install insulated glass panels into sash or frame.
• Install hardware components; inspect in-process and finished units.
• Package, wrap, and stack units for shipment; maintain clean work area.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
