Job summary

MITER Brands in Flower Mound, TX is hiring a Production Assembler I for day or night shifts. You will perform departmental tasks, unload trucks, receive and label materials, and support the production line to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with heavy machinery, forklift or crane certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We value teamwork and safety, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Crane operator experience is highly desired.
• Experience in operating heavy machinery.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Previous material receiving/handling experience.
• Glass handling knowledge a plus if receiving glass.
• Compute basic math problems including fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to discern colors.
• Ability to work in, and promote a team environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Overtime may be required, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Unload trucks and place them in the staging area.
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
• Label materials accurately.
• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.
• Assist in preparation for, and completion of cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Keep all parts in responsibility adequately stocked at all times.
• Communicate to a supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low.
• Remove waste from production lines.
• Weigh and record waste.
• Deliver non-inventory items to all areas of the organization.
• Process defective or discrepant material.
• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.

Why work at MITER BRANDS? Are you ready to take the lead and keep production running smoothly? MI Windows and Doors is looking for a Production Assembler I to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. We are currently hiring positions on both day and night shifts.

Compensation Range starts at $20.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) (night shift differential) $2.00

Shifts available:

• Day Shift: Starts at 6:00am
• Night Shift: Starts at 7:00pm

Responsibilities
