Milgard Manufacturing LLC in Temecula, CA is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform departmental activities in line with SOPs, MPS, and company philosophy. You will read tags to verify material type, color, and size, and produce vent, window, or door panels with minimal breakage and high quality.
Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience; window manufacturing is preferred, and glass handling knowledge is a plus.
Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MPS, and Philosophy. Read tags to verify material type, color, and size, etc. are correct. Complete quality control charts as required per standard operating procedures. Produce a vent, window, or door panel with minimal breakage and acceptable quality. Keep all parts (rollers, screws, etc.) stocked at all times. Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job. Properly use personal protective equipment.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Window manufacturing preferred. Glass handling and/or glass knowledge is a plus.
Work performed in a warehouse‑type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions. Hearing protection and safety glasses are required; additional safety equipment is provided based on specific job. Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti‑fatigue mats provided where feasible. Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions, for up to 12 hours a day.
