Job summary

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) GSE Division in Palmetto, Florida, is seeking a production assembler to join the ground support equipment team. You will assemble products electrically and mechanically, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using hand and air tools, and standing for long periods. Prior manufacturing experience and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Utilizing the ITW Toolbox,

• Assemble products both electrically and mechanically in assigned area while focused on quality and on time delivery of goods.
• Be flexible in daily activities in order meet overall production requirements.
• Willing to learn new tasks with minimal supervision and instructions
• Foster a safe environment where productivity and efficiency are the main focus and employees enjoy

• Follow all safety and QMS procedures and processes.
• Be a Champion of 5S follow 5S principles and practices.
• Have full working knowledge of the Production Board and be able to use it to guide daily work.

Qualifying Requirements

• Professional Experience – Production assembly preferred- electrical/mechanical
• Functional Experience – Read and understand blueprints and schematics. Communicate effectively at all levels of the company. Be able to operate hand tools, air tools, torque wrenches, etc.
• Industry Experience – Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Language – English
• Education – High school diploma
• Physical- Must be able to lift 50 libs and be able to stand for 8 hours
