Aerotek seeks a dedicated Production Assembler for our Fairfield, NJ site. You will assemble components from detailed drawings, perform weighing, loading, and various assembly steps in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with safety and quality as priorities.

This contract-to-hire role offers a 7:00am–5:30pm shift, onsite work, and pay of $24 per hour with overtime opportunities. Candidates should have good manual dexterity and the ability to follow precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and route wire harnesses per specifications.
• Solder small wires and terminal connections as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.

Location: Fairfield, NJ

Shift: 7:00am-5:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

Pay: $24/hour ; Overtime: $36/hour (overtime availability on Fridays & Saturdays)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble components according to detailed drawings and operation sheets, ensuring precision and quality in every task. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Assemble components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets.
• Perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations.
• Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce or modify parts.
• Maintain count and order progress by logging time and quantities.
• Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools and apply epoxy.
• Perform soldering tasks, including small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding.
• Build and route wire harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires according to specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
