Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Assemblers in Rutherford, NJ for a full-time onsite role. The position offers a 4pm-3:30am shift with overtime on Fridays and weekends. Pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, with a permanent placement and strong benefits including a 401(k).

Responsibilities include measuring, crimping, wiring, and assembling pumps, blowers, and motors, plus tool maintenance and following schematics. This is a fully onsite role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Measure and verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience with crimping, stripping, and connecting wires and cables.
• Assembling pumps, blowers, and motors.
• Conduct daily maintenance on measuring tools and flag upcoming calibration needs.
• Utilizing hand tools and doing bench work.
• Ability to follow diagrams or schematics.
• Minor soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components such as pumps and motors as per diagrams.
• Perform daily tool maintenance and calibration checks.
• Crimp, strip, and connect wires and cables as required.
• Follow schematics during assembly; perform minor soldering when needed.

Large company with opportunity for growth looking for MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS to join their team.

Pay: $22-23/HR

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Shift: 4pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday & Overtime on Friday

*Must be open to working overtime on weekends when needed

Job Description:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
