Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Technology Support II to ensure stable, high-performing production application flows within our Payments Technology Team. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve production interruptions across on-premises and cloud systems to deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident and change management, and collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
• Hands on experience in Production Support and Application support with experience with coding with Java
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud, with AWS experience including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation.
• Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and third-party solutions.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with database management and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end service delivery supporting business operations.
• Improve operational stability and availability through participation in problem management.
• Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues using observability tools.
• Assist in escalation and communication of issues and solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
• Identify trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes for full stack systems.
