Job summary

United Contractor Services (UCS) is hiring an engineer to build production AI agents that perform real work across our business. This hands-on role requires coding, deploying agents, and owning their production performance.

Based in our Kennesaw, GA headquarters, this in-office position requires no relocation and reports to the Director of Technology. You will work with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Procore, and Make.com, delivering secure, governed automation across multiple

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, incl 1 year delivering AI/LLM systems in production
Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills
Hands-on work with major agent frameworks/SDKs (Claude, OpenAI Agents, LangGraph, etc.)
Experience building eval harnesses and interpreting results to prove agent viability
Knowledge of Azure Functions, Graph API, Entra ID app registrations, OAuth2, and managed identities
Solid backend and integration skills: REST APIs, webhooks, queues, state management, authentication
Able to work on-site daily in Kennesaw, GA

Responsibilities

Architect and ship production agent systems with tool calling, multi-step reasoning, and memory
Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities and deliver agents
Connect agents to our environment via Microsoft Graph, Entra, SharePoint, Teams, and external APIs
Build secure identity/access patterns and audit logging for agents
Stand up evaluation pipelines and observability for all production agents
Maintain governance standards for data handling, model selection, and versioning
