Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is building a team to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered workflows and agent-based solutions for Tax, Assurance, and Advisory. This forward-deployed AI engineer will join the APG Agent Factory founding team and own end-to-end development of production-ready AI applications.

The role requires strong full-stack skills, experience with LLMs, and collaboration with domain experts to translate requirements into scalable software in a fast-paced professional services

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on software engineering delivering production-quality apps.
• Experience deploying an LLM-powered feature to real users.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong full-stack skills: backend, data models, APIs, and UI.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, or Java and learning new languages quickly.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain AI agents and multi-step workflows with orchestration and memory management.
• Develop production-quality applications, APIs, data models, dashboards, and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with Tax, Assurance, and Advisory to automate business processes.
• Define hypotheses, testing criteria, and evaluation frameworks for AI capabilities.
• Maintain automated tests and ground-truth datasets with SMEs for reliability.
