Job summary

Engineering Services and Products Company in Dyersville, IA seeks an Expeditor/Production Clerk responsible for releasing, modifying, and/or cancelling work orders to the production floor, obtaining drawings and bills of materials, and preparing labels and paperwork for issue.

You will follow up on past-due items, close completed orders, update records, and ensure accuracy of weight and packaging data, while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• The ability to read and write at the 9th grade level and perform two years of clerical work.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Releases, modifies, and/or cancels work orders to the production floor.
• Obtains drawings and BOMs; creates work orders for in-stock items.
• Prepares labels and paperwork for issue; follows up on past-due items.
• Closes work orders and updates records when production is complete.
• Reviews building specification sheets; updates weight and packaging data.
• Arranges stock numbers for custom items and creates work orders as needed.
• Issues work orders for pipe and cable requirements.
• Closes shelters and other production items as needed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
