Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and write at a 9th grade level.
• Two years of clerical experience.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Safety-conscious and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Release, modify, or cancel work orders to the production floor.
• Obtain drawings and BOMs; create work orders for in-stock items.
• Prepare labels and paperwork for production.
• Follow up on past-due items.
• Close work orders and update records; release for shipping.
• Update weight and packaging specs in the database.
• Assign stock numbers and create work orders for custom items.
• Issue work orders for pipe and cable needs.
• Close shelters and other production items as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
