Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Production Accountant for our Fort Smith, AR facility to support the Cost Accounting Department by accurately recording all plant production transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities include daily and period-end inventories, KPI reporting, and SOX-compliant testing; requires proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP or ERP systems, plus a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business related major (from four-year College or university) or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and in-house ERP system.
• Ability to analyze weekly, monthly operating reports and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating reports.
• Assist with balance sheet management of inventory quantities and valuation.
• Perform inventory tests to ensure SOX compliance.
• Travel to plant locations to explain reports and ensure accountability.
