Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Production Accountant for our Fort Smith, AR facility. The role supports the Cost Accounting Department with accurate recording of plant production transactions and inventories, performs KPI reporting, and assists with monthly close under SOX controls.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, strong Excel skills, experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and the ability to communicate findings to plant and corporate management.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/related field with strong numerical ability.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials and reports.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is required or highly preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly operating reports.
• Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation for plant accounts.
• Support KPI reporting to plant and corporate management on a regular cadence.
• Travel to plant locations to explain reports and drive accountability.
• Analyze variances and assist with balance sheet activities for inventory.
