Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant at our Fort Smith, AR headquarters. The role manages CAPEX, fixed assets, depreciation, and asset accounting systems, working with management to ensure accurate reporting and project alignment.

Responsibilities include asset additions/disposals, depreciation entries, and capital project tracking, with cross-functional collaboration across plant and corporate teams. Proficiency in Asset Keeper, SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business related major is required or preferred.
• 2-5 years in accounting or finance is required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Depreciation and Amortization entries for fixed assets and capital projects.
• Identify and record fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals.
• Assist with Capital Projects and CAPEX budgets and variances.
• Track volumes, statistics, and dollars related to Capital Projects/Fixed assets on a regular cadence.
• Review and update fixed asset policy and assist with project presentations.
