Job summary

Bachoco USA in Albertville, AL is seeking a Production Accountant to support the Complex Accounting Manager with daily production transactions, line and shift reporting, and weekly inventory validation for meat and dry goods. You will help ensure timely KPI reporting to plant and company management.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), and SOX compliance. Travel to multiple plant locations is expected; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related major.
• Experience with SOX controls and inventory reporting preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily production transaction records and inventories.
• Prepare weekly, monthly operating reports and statistics.
• Assist with balance sheet management of inventory quantities and reconciliations.
• Travel to plant locations to explain reports to facility personnel.
• Ensure SOX controls documentation is complete and accurate.
• Provide KPI reporting to plant and company management.
