Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Product / Textile Designer to support licensed and private-label brands across bath and soft home categories. This hands-on role covers concept through production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, strong CAD and textile knowledge, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience in product/textile/home design.
• Experience with production-ready artwork and repeat patterns.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre.
• Excellent knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and soft home products.
• Create CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways.
• Develop trims, textures, embellishments, and construction details.
• Prepare production-ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories.
• Review samples, strike-offs, lab dips, and manage revisions and approvals.
• Collaborate with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams.
• Oversee multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

The Opportunity

A leading home fashions company is seeking a Product / Textile Designer to support a variety of licensed and private-label brands across bath and other soft home categories. This is a hands-on design position that combines creative development with technical execution throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept through production.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with a solid understanding of soft home product design, development, and manufacturing. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products
• Create CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways
• Develop trims, textures, embellishments, and product construction details
• Prepare production-ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories
• Review samples, strike-offs, and lab dips and manage revisions and approvals
• Collaborate closely with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams
• Oversee multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of experience in product design, textile design, home design, or a related field
• Experience with hard bath goods is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre
• Experience developing production-ready artwork and repeat patterns
• Strong knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of projects
• Comfortable managing multiple brands, projects, and seasonal timelines
