True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Product/Textile Designer to support bath and other soft home brands in New York. The role blends creative development with technical execution, from concept through production, across multiple licenses and private-label lines.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of textile/product design experience, proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop/Pointcarre, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of experience in product design, textile design, or related field.
• Experience with hard bath goods is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre.
• Experience developing production-ready artwork and repeat patterns.
• Strong knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to take ownership of projects.
• Comfortable managing multiple brands, projects, and seasonal timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products.
• Create CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways.
• Develop trims, textures, embellishments, and production details.
• Prepare production-ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories.
• Review samples, strike-offs, and lab dips and manage revisions and approvals.
• Collaborate with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams.
• Oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.
