Job summary

IGT, a global leader in gaming, is seeking a dedicated tester to perform functional testing on gaming machines and related components to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and proper operation. You will test across multiple products, document issues, and support production output while training new staff.

Based in Reno, NV, this role requires hands-on testing with relevant tools and collaboration with teams to sustain high-quality gaming experiences.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic knowledge of gaming industry regulations is desired.
  • Ability to develop basic proficiency with ERP tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional testing on gaming machines to ensure operation, compatibility, quality, and compliance.
  • Test machine functions and sub-assemblies across multiple products.
  • Verify products meet gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Use and maintain testing tools and equipment, including coins, tokens, currency, and player tracking cards.
  • Verify product information and document discrepancies accurately.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
  • Maintain expected production and testing output.
  • Train and support new and existing employees.

Overview

In this role, you will perform functional testing on gaming machines and related components to ensure products operate accurately and meet quality, compatibility, and regulatory requirements.

You will test multiple products and sub-assemblies, identify and troubleshoot defects, document discrepancies, and complete appropriate fixes while maintaining expected production output.

You will also help train and support new and existing employees.

Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing on gaming machines to ensure proper operation, compatibility, quality, and compliance.

  • Use and maintain testing tools and equipment, including coins, tokens, currency, and player tracking cards.

  • Troubleshoot issues, identify defects, and complete appropriate fixes.
  • Maintain expected production and testing output.
  • Train and provide follow-up support to new and existing employees.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
  • Basic knowledge of gaming industry regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to develop basic proficiency with relevant ERP tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, materials management, regulatory requirements, and basic/intermediate mathematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Ability to stand for a full shift and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a gaming card.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small-group settings, including with management.
  • Ability to perform basic math, including adding, subtracting, counting, and measuring.
