Qualifications

• 5+ years related Equipment experience.
• Degree preferred in Engineering/Technology/Marketing.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities using John Deere data, telematics, and CRM.
• Develop customer relationships to prevent downtime and solve issues.
• Promote parts and service to grow in Eastern Tennessee.
• Actively manage the product support process for high satisfaction.
• Promote PMs/TMRs and digital partnerships.
• Travel within AOR as needed.

McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a Product Support Sales Representative in our Chattanooga, TN dealership.

Join McCoy Construction & Forestry as our Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) and take charge of customer success! This is a proactive field role focused on promoting parts , technical solutions and add on parts to maximize machine performance and customer growth.

What will you do:

• Utilize John Deere data, telematics, and CRM to identify opportunities.
• Develop customer relationships to prevent downtime and solve issues.
• Promote parts and service, fostering growth in our Eastern Tennessee area.
• Actively manage the product support process for high satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

• External (Customer Focused) sales/support position.
• Using the benefits of technology, strategically focus on incremental revenue opportunities that support both parts and service strategic fiscal objectives.
• Make field related purpose-built customer calls to follow up on Product Support opportunities and provide leads for Parts and Service Department
• Fully utilize McCoy's customer relationship management (CRM)
• Actively promote Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PM's) or Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts (TMR's)
• Provide customer training, follow up calls and create customer digital partnerships.
• Proactively monitor JDLINK data, promote and maintain machine connectivity along with the sale of Universal Telematics Devises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular onsite attendance as required by your supervisor.

Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:

• Heavy Equipment experience in necessary.
• Degree preferred and/or applicable experience in an Engineering/Technology /Marketing discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years related Equipment experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated sales and marketing skills. Understanding the principles, applying the information to complex situations, developing new applications and providing expert support for other practitioners.
• Knowledge of products and services offered, good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Be customer focused, write clearly and concisely, and analyze effectively.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time with in your AOR, some overnight stays included.
