Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a high-performing leader in Data & Analytics to guide discovery, mentor analytics teams, and drive data-driven strategic initiatives. The role focuses on coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-value analytics solutions with a product-first mindset.

You will partner with senior leaders to identify business cases, champion AI adoption, and shape the data ecosystem while mentoring peers to elevate capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years guiding teams with a product-first framework and analytics products lifecycle.
• 7+ years in Data Analytics, BI, IT, or related field, senior/lead level preferred.
• Proven coaching, mentoring, and upskilling data analysts and cross-functional teams.
• Strong conceptual understanding of advanced analytics and AI/ML applications.
• Experience with Big Data systems, cloud-based data lakes and analytics visualization platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach data analytics managers and teams.
• Guide long-term analytics and data ecosystem strategy.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify and scope high-value data use cases.
• Identify and promote AI and advanced analytics use cases.
• Develop robust business cases delivering financial and operational value.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform and dev teams to build analytics products.
• Lead discovery, hypothesis testing, and root-cause analysis for complex problems.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions translating data needs to requirements.
• Provide data-driven strategic recommendations with impact analyses.
