Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management across lifecycles, collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

You will lead supplier selection, engage strategic partners, manage NPI component procurement and CAPEX, and work to reduce lead times and total cost of ownership while ensuring high-quality hardware availability.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
Design & development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
Advanced sourcing activities including commodity/sourcing managers.
Supplier development (technology, process, supply chain, etc.).
Early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirements.
Value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component & product level.
Familiarity with high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments.
Some exposure working in a start-up environment.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Conduct supplier selection leveraging our approved supplier list.
Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (concept scoping, trade-offs, Should cost/clean sheet).
Drive BOM development with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production.
Accountable for all NPI component procurement, on-time and correct to scale.
Manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize lead time and flexibility.
Complete BOM risk assessment with alternate sourcing.
